Job summary

Intelligent Talent is hiring a Data Engineer to help migrate an enterprise data platform to Microsoft Fabric, taking ownership of design, development and production support. You’ll work on Fabric, Power BI, SQL and Azure data services, building data pipelines and API integrations, with CI/CD and production deployments.

Hybrid role based in the UK (Birmingham preferred; London/Reading/Leeds also considered) offering £55,000-£65,000, 10% bonus, 7% pension, private medical insurance and income

Qualifications

• Hands-on Fabric experience in current or most recent role.
• Experience with production data solutions in a regulated environment preferred.
• Strong SQL, data modelling and Azure data platform knowledge.
• Power BI experience in a data engineering context.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimise data pipelines across Fabric components (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake).
• Develop ETL/ELT processes and integrate APIs.
• Maintain production deployments and investigate issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders in a regulated financial services setting.
