Opus Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer for a hybrid role in Liverpool, working inside IR35 at a daily rate of £400-£500. You will design and build data pipelines, support migration to Fabric, and craft Power BI reports.

This hands-on position combines data engineering, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge transfer, with emphasis on scalable solutions and best practices across the reporting estate.

Formación

• Experience delivering data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling and semantic layer design.
• Proficiency with SQL and ETL processes to optimise performance.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop data ingestion pipelines within Microsoft Fabric.
• Data engineering, data modelling, and semantic layer design.
• Develop engaging and insightful Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Support the migration of an existing reporting estate into a modern Fabric platform.
• Optimise SQL and ETL processes to improve performance and reliability.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Deliver training, coaching, and best‑practice guidance to analysts and report developers.
