Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and continuously improve our Microsoft Fabric data platform, creating a trusted and scalable foundation for reporting, customer insight and analytics.

You’ll develop data pipelines and models, own CRM data engineering activities including the single customer view, and work with Data & Insight, CRM, IT and Customer teams to deliver reliable, business-ready data products that support better decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and supporting production data pipelines, data platforms or analytical data products.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering.
• Strong SQL skills, with Python and/or PySpark for data engineering solutions.
• Experience implementing CI/CD, environment promotion and release management for data solutions.
• Proven experience integrating data from APIs, databases, files and third‑party platforms with data quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines and models that support reporting and analytics.
• Own CRM data engineering activities including single customer view and consent processes.
• Collaborate with Data & Insight, CRM, IT and Customer teams to deliver reliable data products.
• Contribute to platform optimisation, automation, testing, release management and operational support.
