Job summary

Lowell Group Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Data Engineer to shape and maintain data infrastructure supporting decision-making. You will work hands-on with SQL, SSIS and ETL on large datasets to keep the data warehouse accurate, efficient, and scalable.

You will identify opportunities to automate processes, improve performance, and deliver new data solutions while collaborating with stakeholders to turn complex data into clear insights.

Qualifications

• Intermediate or above experience with SQL, Python and Power Shell would be an advantage.
• Confident working with large and complex datasets.
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders, understanding their needs and translating them into data solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into a clear, meaningful story.
• A curious, problem‑solving mindset and a drive to find better, more efficient ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Shape and maintain data infrastructure to support decision-making across Lowell.
• Work hands-on with SQL, SSIS, ETL processes and large datasets to keep data warehouse accurate and scalable.
