Job summary

Saturn, a Series A fintech in London, is building an AI-native operating system for financial advice. You’ll design and maintain production data pipelines that feed product, AI, and reporting systems, ensuring data is accurate, timely and trusted.

You’ll own data models, contracts and quality checks, work with Kafka, dbt and Airflow, and partner with engineers, product and compliance to scale a regulated data platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and operating production data pipelines or data platforms.
• Model data for real consumers and identify source of truth before duplicating data.
• Strong Python or equivalent language for data processing.
• Experience with batch and event-driven processing using Kafka or similar.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses/lakes and external data integration.

Responsibilities

• Ingest data from financial platforms, CRMs and internal services via Kafka-based streams and batch pipelines.
• Develop core data models for clients, households, assets, products and evidence.
• Define data contracts and enforce schema evolution to avoid downstream breakages.
• Implement validation, reconciliation and quality checks at critical boundaries.
• Ensure data lineage, provenance and auditability for regulated workflows.
• Build pipelines that handle retries, backfills and late-arriving data.
• Prepare datasets for AI and product reporting; manage data access controls.
