Job summary

Tesco Insurance is hiring a Data Engineer to join the Data & BI team. You will build and maintain data flows, data acquisition processes and well-structured data marts to drive business analysis.

You will report to Data Engineering Leads, manage end-to-end data requests, and ensure a single version of truth across the organisation while working in a hybrid model with two onsite days per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate reports by collecting data from standard sources and formatting outputs.
• Contribute to SAS-based application development and data warehouse maintenance.
• Develop data pipelines and data models to support business analysis.
• Collaborate with Data & BI team to maintain a SAS/SQL data warehouse.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries and governance practices.
• Troubleshoot data issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Process BI requests from stakeholders with attention to data quality.
