Maxwell Bond is partnering with a public sector organisation in Greater Manchester to recruit a Data Engineer. The role focuses on building and optimising data pipelines on Microsoft Fabric and Azure, delivering scalable data products to support local services.

You will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders, transforming data, modelling datasets, and driving data quality across the platform. The position offers hybrid working (1–2 days onsite) and a 2-year fixed-term contract with

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Engineer or similar role in data platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to build scalable data pipelines.

About the Role

You’ll work across the organisation’s Microsoft Fabric and Azure data platforms, helping to build and improve data pipelines, data models and analytics solutions. You’ll work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to understand requirements, transform data and deliver reliable, scalable data products.
