Ethos BeathChapman is partnering with a fast-growing financial services business to appoint a Data & Analytics Lead who will shape data strategy and reporting across the national footprint.

You will own day-to-day data operations, deliver reliable dashboards, and guide the analytics function as the business scales. This role blends hands-on delivery with strategic influence, offering significant impact and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on SQL and data engineering skills.
• Advanced Power BI expertise with data modelling and DAX.
• Experience delivering business reporting, managing data quality, and building scalable data solutions.
• Experience with Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, integrations and reconciliation processes across multiple business-critical systems.
• Build insightful KPIs, management information and Power BI dashboards that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Drive data quality, governance and control frameworks to ensure a trusted single source of truth.
• Support financial and executive reporting with accurate, timely analytics.
• Lead data migration and onboarding processes for newly acquired businesses.
• Contribute to future-state data architecture, platform selection and data strategy as the business scales.
• Play a key role in building and shaping a future data team.
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders across technology, finance and the wider business.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced data professional to become the organisation's first dedicated Data & Analytics Lead, helping to shape the future of data and reporting across a rapidly expanding national business.

The Opportunity

This is a rare blend of hands-on delivery and strategic influence. You'll take ownership of the day-to-day data and analytics function, transforming data from multiple business systems into trusted reporting, dashboards and actionable business insight, while helping define the long-term data strategy.

Key Responsibilities

About You

Essential skills/experience:

• Strong hands-on SQL and data engineering skills

• Experience of Snowflake

Advantageous:

• Experience within financial services industry
• Experience of data migrations and/or system onboarding,
• Python or modern cloud data platforms would be advantageous (eg Fabric/Databricks)
