Job summary

Gazelle Global Consulting Limited is hiring a Data Engineer in London to join an Agile delivery team. You will help develop a modern data platform with 3 days onsite, focusing on scalable, governed data solutions and trusted single-source-of-truth datasets across the business.

You will work across data modelling, engineering, quality, governance and analytics, partnering with stakeholders and platform teams to onboard sources and improve the data environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Snowflake and SQL experience.
• Advanced dbt including modelling, testing and deployments.
• Dimensional modelling and semantic layers.
• Exposure to ELT pipelines and modern data architecture.

Job description

A Data Engineer is required to join an Agile delivery team supporting the development and maturity of a modern data platform in London, with 3 days onsite.

The role centres on building scalable, governed data solutions that provide trusted, single-source-of-truth datasets across the business. You'll work across data modelling, engineering, quality, governance and analytics, partnering with stakeholders, analysts and platform teams to onboard new sources and improve the overall data environment.

Key Skills:

• Strong Snowflake and SQL experience
• Advanced dbt, including modelling, testing and deployments
• Dimensional modelling and semantic layers
• Tableau and analytics enablement
• Fivetran and/or Hightouch
• ELT pipelines and modern data architecture
• Git, CI/CD and software engineering practices
• Data quality, lineage and observability
• Exposure to Airflow or Dagster

The contract is initially 1-3 years and is based in London with 3 days onsite.
