Job summary

Eastlight Community Homes is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. You will design and develop trusted data products, pipelines and models that support reporting, analytics and better decision-making across the business.

Working with Digital, Data, Performance and operational teams, you will transform complex data requirements into scalable, reusable solutions, improve data quality and governance, and deliver insights that drive performance and customer

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in data engineering, BI development and ETL processes.
  • Strong SQL, data modelling and data warehousing skills (including Kimball/Star Schema).
  • Experience building and managing data pipelines and centralised data warehouses.
  • Proven experience with cloud data and analytics platforms, including AWS services such as S3, Athena, Redshift and Glue, and/or Microsoft technologies such as Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Previous experience working in the Housing Sector is desirable

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, to help Eastlight become a truly data-led organisation. You'll design and develop trusted data products, pipelines and models that support reporting, analytics and better decision-making across the business.

Benefits and Compensation

To demonstrate our commitment to you, we have developed a sector leading total rewards package:

  • £60,528 per annum
  • Permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week
  • Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee's contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Annual wellbeing grant of £200 per annum – Subject to eligibility
  • Trailblazing family leave (Maternity, Paternity and Adoption – 12 weeks full pay/6 weeks half pay) – Subject to eligibility
  • Formal qualifications and paid professional membership
