Job summary

Lancashire Insurance Group in London is seeking an Underwriting Support professional to enhance processes and reporting through technology, automation and data analysis. The role supports the Property Team and collaborates with underwriting stakeholders.

You will analyze accounts and portfolio metrics, work with Exposure Management, input data, help manage bordereaux, and contribute to pricing tools and monthly MI dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Administrative or underwriting support experience, preferably in property.
  • Strong data management and analysis with Excel and Power BI.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proactive attitude and quick learner.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze accounts and portfolio metrics (rate, deductible, risk, region) over the year.
  • Collaborate with Exposure Management on outputs and exposures.
  • Input data for Exposure Management and collect bordereaux from brokers.
  • Develop pricing tools with Underwriters.
  • Monitor premiums and prepare MI for monthly/quarterly meetings.
  • Track Contract Performance using dashboard MI.
  • Verify bordereaux for compliance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Create and improve regional loss scenarios for the Binder portfolio.
  • Support DU process and collect information for lead accounts.
