Job summary

The Lancashire Group in London is seeking a Delegated Underwriting Analyst to support Underwriting and Operations through technology, automation and data analysis. You will work with the Property Team to enhance processes and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience in admin or underwriting support, preferably in property.
  • Proficient data management and analysis with Excel/Power BI.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze accounts and portfolio metrics (rate, risk, region) throughout the year.
  • Peer review outputs with Exposure Management.
  • Input data for Exposure Management; gather bordereaux as needed.
  • Create and refine pricing tools with Underwriters.
  • Manage premium monitoring using dashboard MI for meetings.
  • Monitor Contract Performance using MI dashboard.
  • Verify bordereaux for underwriting guidelines compliance.
  • Develop regional loss scenarios across Binder portfolio.
  • Support DU process; collect info and assist lead accounts.
