Job summary

HMGCC, based on-site at Hanslope Park near Milton Keynes, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to baseline, improve and validate PCB manufacturing processes. The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and adherence to safety standards in a high-reliability manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of baselining and leading the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of manufacturing process principles and methodologies e.g. 8D, 5 Whys or Ishikawa/fishbone analysis.
• Previous adherence of CoSHH and Health and Safety considerations relevant to a chemical/manufacturing environment.
• Experience of writing, reviewing and maintaining technical process documentation e.g. SOPs, work Instructions, process specifications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a dynamic and diverse team that is well funded with the latest technology.
• Lead baselining current processes, identifying variation, and leading data-driven improvement projects.
• Analyse process performance, identify root causes of variation, and implement sustainable improvements.
• Work closely with engineers to optimise process chemistry and equipment performance.
• Contribute to project planning, reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead investigation of process-related defects and non-conformances using structured problem-solving approaches.
