Job summary

DX Freight in London is seeking an Operations Analyst to turn cost and operational data into actionable insights across the end-to-end logistics network. You will build basic Excel models to compare options, measure the impact of changes and present recommendations to stakeholders.

You will collaborate with IT to align systems requirements, maintain benchmarks and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives, including scenario analysis and pilot trials.

Qualifications

• Numerate with strong analytical skills.
• Able to build basic Excel models to evaluate financial and operational impact.
• Familiar with end-to-end logistics processes and cost, capacity and productivity drivers.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative analysis to compare options.
• Engage with stakeholders to support balanced qualitative assessment of options.
• Liaise with IT to ensure alignment of systems requirements.
• Prepare, document and present recommendations and implementation plans.
• Maintain relevant benchmarks and best practices to guide future design projects.
• Contribute to blue-sky thinking and prioritisation of ideas.
