Job summary

WR Logistics in Slough is seeking a commercially curious Category Analyst to join the Buying team. You’ll shape food categories by turning data and customer insight into growth opportunities.

Working with Category Managers on strategy, range reviews, NPD and commercial decisions across Butchery, Cakes & Bakery and other specialist foods. You’ll use Excel and Power BI to reveal trends and drive range improvements.

Responsibilities

• Analyse sales, category and product performance to uncover opportunities.
• Help shape and optimise product ranges for different customers and channels.
• Support category reviews, NPD and range-gap projects, including Own Brand.
• Use Excel and Power BI to turn data into meaningful commercial insight.
• Work with customers, suppliers and internal teams to understand trends and opportunities.
• Get involved in product launches, category marketing, supplier events and trade shows.
