DATA CONSULTANT – Consultant/Senior Consultant/Managing Consultant levels

London - Hybrid

Join our Data, Technology, Automation and Testing (DTAT) Consulting team as a Data Consultant. You will be passionate about data, analytics, and applying insights to our leading financial services clients. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded and driven individual to help build out our expanding practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with clients on multiple disciplines and projects supporting data programmes from strategy to analytics and delivery.
• Be passionate about data and its role in client businesses.
• Approach data and analytics with a forward-thinking mindset, considering existing heritage environments.
• Shape and deliver complex data transformation projects, including advising on strategy, predictive analytics, machine learning, AI, and data programmes.
• Utilise proprietary technology such as our NLP tooling to solve client problems.
• Identify business opportunities within existing and new clients, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to develop campaigns and respond to RFPs.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience within Financial Services, covering areas from strategy and architecture to predictive modeling and dashboards.
• Project and change management skills, with ability to shape and deliver data programmes.
• Managing critical data elements for regulatory reporting (definition, lineage, quality monitoring).
• Implementing sound data management practices.
• Designing enterprise data architecture and logical models.
• Programming skills in Python, SQL, or Spark.
• Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Knowledge of data engineering tools such as Hadoop, Kafka, SQL.
• Experience in analytics, reviewing large complex data sets with tools like Alteryx or DI.
• Understanding of data quality and regulations like GDPR.
• Client engagement and stakeholder management skills.
• Domain expertise in areas of FS such as Investment Banking, Retail Banking, or Wealth Management.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Strong presentation skills and experience in writing project proposals.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Prior consulting experience.
