Job summary

PRS is recruiting an experienced Shift Technician to join a leading facilities management team on a critical data centre site in Longcross, UK. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across critical infrastructure, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems to maximise uptime.

You will monitor UPS, generators, BMS, HVAC and LV systems, respond to faults quickly, and perform PPMs, inspections and site rounds in line with SOPs, EOPs, RAMS and health & safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a data centre or critical environment.
• Strong electrical or mechanical engineering background.
• Knowledge of UPS, generators, BMS, HVAC and LV systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work shifts in a critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across critical infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain electrical and mechanical systems.
• Respond to faults and breakdowns quickly and safely.
• Complete PPMs, inspections and site rounds.
• Work in line with SOPs, EOPs, RAMS and health & safety procedures.
• Support a 24/7 critical environment and ensure maximum uptime.
