Job summary

V7 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a large-scale data centre project in Sweden. The UK-based candidate will handle budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, and subcontractor procurement while coordinating with project teams to control costs.

The role involves managing commercial documentation, interim valuations and applications for payment, and assisting with financial reporting. Flights, accommodation and rotations are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' Quantity Surveying experience in construction.
• Experience supporting commercial delivery of construction projects.
• Good understanding of cost control, procurement and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial and contractual management of the project.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts and cost reporting.
• Support subcontractor procurement, tendering and contract administration.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Package Managers and site teams.
• Manage commercial and contractual documentation.
• Attend commercial, site and project review meetings.
• Support change control and variation management.
• Prepare interim valuations and applications for payment.
• Provide commercial support and advice to the project team.
• Assist with financial reporting and resolution of commercial issues.
