Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited seeks a Data Centre Project Manager (Mechanical) to oversee design, installation, commissioning and handover of multiple power and mechanical projects within data centres across the UK. You will ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget, coordinating with design teams, clients, and contractors in mission-critical environments.

The role requires a mechanically biased engineer with proven experience in resilient power delivery, RAMS compliance, and client-facing

Qualifications

• Mechanical/building services apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering projects in data centres or mission-critical settings.
• Experience with resilient power delivery and UPS/generator systems.
• CDM/SMSTS/IOSH knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of resilient power and mechanical projects across multiple sites.
• Prepare technical specifications and briefs with design team.
• Develop and monitor project programmes with supply chain and stakeholders.
• Coordinate specialist contractors ensuring QA and performance standards.
• Maintain site records and project documentation.
