Job summary

Resourgenix Ltd. seeks a Data Centre Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design delivery for large-scale data centre projects in London and beyond. You will ensure outputs meet top engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and robust governance from concept through to handover.

Expect to drive technical leadership across disciplines, supervise design teams, and contribute to business development while delivering energy-efficient, resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Chartered Engineer status (CIBSE/IMechE or equivalent) preferred or essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design from concept to construction for data centre projects.
• Oversee technical deliverables: calculations, specifications, drawings.
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and international standards (ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, EN 50600).
• Provide technical leadership in client engagements, design coordination, and workshops.
• Mentor and develop engineering teams; promote design excellence.
