L.J.B & Co. Construction Recruitment has partnered with a dedicated Data Centre construction client to recruit a Logistics Manager for an on-site Blyth, Northumberland project.

You will lead site logistics for a hyperscale data centre, coordinating materials, plant and personnel in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 5+ years on large-scale construction projects (data centres preferred) and the ability to develop delivery schedules, traffic plans, and just-in-time supply chains while

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role on large-scale construction projects (data centres preferred).
• Must be based within commutable distance of Blyth, Northumberland.
• On-site logistics leadership experience required.
• Ability to develop traffic management plans and delivery schedules.
• Knowledge of inventory control and site storage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site logistics operations for the data centre project.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies, delivery schedules, and site access protocols.
• Coordinate with project management, procurement and subcontractors for just-in-time delivery.
• Oversee laydown areas, warehousing and inventory control.
• Drive health, safety and environmental compliance across logistics activities.
