Job summary

LJ.B & Co. Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a major hyperscale data centre project in Blyth, England.

You will oversee electrical installation activities on site, manage subcontractors and coordinate with project teams to deliver safely and to schedule. The role requires strong leadership, a solid background in M&E contracting, and experience on large-scale construction projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical trade qualification required.
• Proven experience as Electrical Supervisor, Foreman, or Site Supervisor.
• Strong background in M&E contracting environments.
• Experience managing electrical subcontractors and site installation activities.
• Good understanding of electrical drawings, specs and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on site.
• Liaise with trades, subcontractors and project teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Prepare and manage two-week look-ahead programmes.
• Attend daily briefings, site meetings and coordination meetings.
• Manage labour resources and monitor productivity against programme requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely delivery of works.
• Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship and safety across electrical activities.
• Ensure materials, tools and plant are delivered, inspected and stored correctly.
• Verify subcontractor plant and access equipment certification.
• Identify project risks, variations and delays; communicate issues to project management.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
