Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking an HVAP Shift Engineer for a Data Centre in Canary Wharf. The role covers control and supervision of planned and reactive maintenance, reporting to the Engineering Shift Leader, and ensuring compliance with site policies and health and safety requirements.

The engineer will operate as an Authorised person, complete safety paperwork, and support shift teams to deliver high-quality work within strict timeframes.

Qualifications

• HVAC/maintenance qualifications and safe working practices required.
• Wiring Regulations certificate and NVQ Level 3 essential.
• First Aid at Work certification preferred.
• Experience in real-time incident/fault management in critical environments.
• Strong health and safety compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Control and supervise planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with Engineering Supervisor and Shift Leader.
• Ensure work complies with site policies and health & safety requirements.
• Act as Authorised person; ensure safety paperwork is completed.
• Support shift teams to perform works safely and to high standards within time constraints.
