Job summary

JMG Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to oversee safety compliance on a major data centre construction project in London, working closely with the client's Construction Manager and main contractor. You will conduct site inspections, monitor site safety, review risk assessments and incident investigations, and promote a strong safety culture across the project team.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' H&S experience in construction or industrial projects.
• Relevant H&S qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK construction health and safety legislation.
• Data centre or MEP construction experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections, safety walks and audits.
• Monitor contractor compliance with health and safety legislation and project safety plans.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Report safety observations and maintain H&S documentation.
• Attend site meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
