Job summary

VIRTUS Data Centres seeks a Fire Life Safety Engineer to support multiple data centres. You will manage inspection schedules, review safety designs, and escalate issues to the engineering leadership while ensuring compliance with BS EN standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Fire Life Safety systems and compliance standards.
• Ability to read design proposals and provide feedback.
• Willingness to travel to sites Monday to Friday.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Report to Fire Life & Safety Manager for all VIRTUS data centres.
• Review and comment on Fire Life Safety design proposals.
• Record and publish monthly KPI reports.
• Provide 2nd/3rd level escalation for Fire & Life Safety issues.
• Assist with commissioning and maintenance optimization.
