Suir Engineering Ltd is seeking an Engineering Manager in Glasgow to lead the MEP engineering scope for a 19MW hyperscale data centre project. The role focuses on HV/LV power distribution, standby generation, UPS, and critical cooling systems, guiding a diverse team through design, testing and readiness for service.

You will drive design coordination, ensure regulatory compliance (BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, CDM 2015) and manage contractor design portions, with opportunities for

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status with IET, CIBSE or equivalent is desirable.
• 7–10 years of engineering experience, data centre or mission-critical sector preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee planning, design and delivery of MEP engineering for mission-critical data centre projects from pre-construction to Ready for Service.
• Ensure on-time, within-scope and within-budget delivery with milestones like HV power-on and LV energisation.
• Lead cross-functional teams including commercial, construction, commissioning, quality and safety.
• Provide technical leadership in HV/LV power distribution, standby generation, UPS and critical cooling to Tier III contemporarily maintainable standards.
