Job summary

ONNEC Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Data Centre Engineer to operate within a prestigious client data centre. You will deliver IMACD and incident resolution services, including patching, fault finding and large-scale equipment refreshes.

The role requires comfort with a 24x7x365 shift pattern and close reporting to the local Service Delivery Manager. Travel may be required.

We currently have an opportunity available for a Data Centre Engineer to join us.

Working within a prestigious client data centre, the position is very customer orientated and requires a strong focus on customer requirements.

As our Data Centre Engineer, you will deliver IMACD and Incident Resolution Services within Workplace Technologies and Data Centre Operational spaces.

The duties range from small alterations such as patching and fault finding to performing large-scale equipment and device refreshes including new installs, decommissions, moves, and maintain functions.

Data Centre Engineers work on shifts that contribute towards providing support services 24x7x365 and report to the local Service Delivery Manager.

Please note successful candidates would be required to work a shift pattern such as:

• A 12 hour continental shift pattern with 14 shifts a month based on a 28 day cycle (7 shifts as days and 7 shifts as nights)
