Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Data Centre Design Manager to lead the end-to-end design process for critical facilities in the UK. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary packages, manage the BIM model, and ensure high-quality design deliverables across all project stages.

The role requires collaboration with clients and vendors, and involves travel to Norway. A strong background in data centre standards and project leadership is essential for success at Arcadis.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or Engineering and professional accreditation preferred.
• Experience leading design teams for large data centre or mission critical projects.
• Proven BIM coordination and submittal management capability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full design package from preliminary to IFC, ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate breakdown of works across disciplines (PUF, C&S, FO) and with vendors.
• Lead design meetings and ensure clear scope and no delivery gaps.
• Manage BIM team to deliver clash-free Final IFC model.
• Review Draft/Final IFC docs and Move In Move Out reports.
• Implement robust RFI procedures and track design changes in as-built BIM.
