Job summary

Wipro Technologies in the United Kingdom seeks an IT infrastructure professional to maintain in-house and COLO datacentre operations. The role involves patching, racking, and testing, plus close coordination with vendors and clients to resolve incidents.

You will use Service-Now for change management, monitor alerts, and support physical provisioning, power, cooling and network connectivity. A full UK driving licence is required and weekend coverage may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have IT infrastructure experience in-house or COLO datacentre.
• Experience using Service-Now to create changes and CTASK, update statuses and close changes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitoring Service-Now for alerts, incidents and tasks and coordinating with third-party vendors.
• Manage access control for the datacentre and raise tickets for approvals.
• Patching, racking and stacking for installs following internal IMAC processes.
