Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Data Center Site Acquisition Manager in London to lead market analyses, secure data center capacity, and provide commercial aircover for delivery teams. You will collaborate with legal, tax, finance, and GR to inform senior management decisions on investments.

The role requires a strong background in land development, power acquisition or related financing, and extensive financial modeling. Travel domestically and abroad is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics or Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in industrial/commercial land development, power acquisition or real estate related investment & financing.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; skilled in contract negotiation.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel domestically and abroad as needed.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate market options, conduct investigations on key resources, devise strategies and secure data center capacities to meet business demand.
• Provide commercial aircover to our delivery team to ensure timely delivery of capacity to our businesses.
• Work with cross-function colleagues (legal, tax, finance, GR) to make informed recommendations for data center investment.
• Provide commercial aircover to support operational-related needs.
• Conduct energy cost analysis and drive initiatives to optimize the budget structure.
• Conduct rightsizing and optimization initiatives as and when required.
