Job summary

Equans Data Centers seeks an Environmental Advisor to support our data centre projects with environmental management and regulatory compliance. You will travel to construction sites and act as the key contact for environmental matters, ensuring adherence to permits and sustainability targets.

You will drive waste reduction, training, and documentation, contributing to decarbonisation goals while working within the project teams to manage risks and improve environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing ISO14001 on construction or data centre projects.
• Knowledge of BREEAM/LEED certification processes and advisory qualifications.
• Ability to assess environmental hazards and mitigate risks on site.
• Willingness to travel nationally across projects.
• Strong report writing and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organise site-level environmental monitoring, measurement and reporting.
• Assist with carbon reduction targets for projects.
• Implement waste reduction plans and promote circular economy practices.
• Deliver on-site sustainability training and toolbox talks.
• Support project teams to achieve BREEAM/LEED ratings and certifications.
