Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Data Center Technical Project Manager in London to lead end-to-end projects across Europe. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with data center providers for greenfield builds, and oversee electrical and telecom fit-out in the data hall.

You will localize data center standards and support EU site selections while working with the design and operations teams to ensure smooth post-handover defect rectification and regional delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar field and/or relevant experience in project delivery for a minimum 50 MW project.
• Familiar with data center building standards & authority requirements in EU region; especially in Norway & Finland etc.
• Portuguese language proficiency is required to support data center delivery operations in Brazil, including vendor coordination and on-site technical communication.
• Certification as a Professional Engineer will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end project management of data center delivery, including cross-functional team collaboration.
• Responsible for the management of data center providers for greenfield projects.
• Responsible for electrical and telecom fit-out work of the data hall.
• Responsible for localization of data center standards, including worksmanship and design.
• Support site selection-related tasks and technical reviews for data center infrastructure in the EU region.
• Work closely with the design team to optimize data hall standards.
• Support local operation teams on post-handover defect rectification.
