Job summary

Salute is seeking an EHS Advisor to provide professional environmental, health and safety guidance to construction project teams in the South of England and Midlands, with site visits to data centres. You will promote a culture of safety, ensure legal and company standard compliance, and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

The role involves regular site inspections, RAMS support, audits, and delivering toolbox talks across multiple sites with regional travel.

Qualifications

Essential: NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety (or equivalent).
Essential: IOSH membership (Tech IOSH or above).
Essential: Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the South and Midlands. Occasional travel within the EU.
Essential: CSCS Card.

Responsibilities

Provide competent EHS advice to site and project management teams.
Support implementation of EHS policies, procedures and systems.
Carry out site inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations.
Assist teams in RAMS and safe systems of work.
Monitor and report EHS performance indicators for monthly/project reporting.
Lead or assist accident investigations with root cause analysis.
Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions and safety briefings.
Promote behavioural safety and wellbeing initiatives across sites.
Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and waste management plans.
Coordinate emergency drills and ensure readiness of first aid and safety arrangements.
Support internal and client audits and regulatory visits.
