Job summary

Vantage Data Centers LLC is seeking a Commercial Manager based in Newport, Wales, to provide region-specific commercial strategy, guidance, and cost control across development projects. The role collaborates with design, engineering, procurement and finance to ensure cost efficiency and accurate budgeting.

You will manage cost plans, review contracts, and support bid evaluations while driving continuous improvement and standardized reporting across projects, with regular travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial management or cost control experience in construction or data centers.
• Proven ability to develop and manage cost plans and budgets for multi-project portfolios.
• Experience reviewing tenders, contracts and change orders with stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of risk management and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost databases and benchmarks for projects.
• Provide commercial support to development and delivery teams and external stakeholders.
• Review and challenge cost plans, data, and assumptions across projects.
• Lead reporting, forecasting and financial status updates for project portfolios.
