Arcadis is the world’s leading design, engineering and consultancy firm delivering sustainable solutions for assets. We seek a Commercial Director to lead cost and commercial management for a major Nordic data centre project.

You will oversee complex work streams and coach team members to drive commercial excellence. The role may be based 100% in country or involve significant travel to Norway or Finland, with 50/50 or 11/3 rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Professional certification such as RICS/AACE or similar.
• Extensive experience in a similar role with cost and commercial Focus.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes and commercial management.
• Experience leading smaller projects and supporting larger ones.
• Experience delivering analysis, insights and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to manage business relationships at middle management level.

Responsibilities

• Manage large projects or complex work streams to meet client expectations.
• Line management for development and performance of team members.
• Supervise Cost and Commercial Specialists on multiple projects.
• Primary client contact for cost, commercial reporting and QA.
• Review outputs before submission to client and external groups.
• Maintain understanding of client key objectives.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and project scope.
• Improve cost/commercial management systems and drive innovation.
