Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Commercial Director to lead a flagship data centre construction project in the Nordics. The role focuses on cost and commercial management, client liaison, and effective delivery of complex outputs across a major program.

The successful candidate may base in-country with significant international travel to Norway or Finland (50/50 or 11/3 rotations), supporting multiple teams and ensuring contract compliance and project success onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• RICS or AACE certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in a similar role with cost and commercial management.
• Experience delivering analysis and insights for large projects.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage large projects or complex work streams delivering outputs that meet client expectations.
• Line management of team members to support development and performance.
• Supervise Cost and Commercial Specialists on multiple projects.
• Primary client contact for cost and commercial reporting and QA.
• Review outputs before submission to client/external groups.
• Maintain understanding of the client objectives and contract compliance.
• Develop and improve cost and commercial management systems and processes.
• Drive service improvement and innovation across projects.
