Job summary

Alibaba Cloud is seeking a data center asset management professional to establish and maintain the asset ledger, reconcile with financial records, and ensure ledger accuracy through regular inventories. The role emphasizes policy development and process improvement for security and optimal utilization of assets.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in corporate asset management, experience in warehousing and supply chain, and strong leadership, communication, and training skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or supply chain.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate asset management.
• Familiarity with warehousing and supply chain management.
• Team management and leadership experience.
• Strong communication and coordination skills; ability to train others on asset management.
• Experience participating in enterprise-level asset audits; meticulous and data-driven.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and update the data center asset ledger; reconcile with financial accounts.
• Ensure ledger-to-physical consistency through regular inventory counts.
• Develop and implement physical asset management processes to ensure asset security, integrity, and utilization.
• Support data center asset operations by understanding business needs and defining inventory control policies (min-max for units and spare parts).
• Lead outsourced team recruitment, performance evaluation, and training to build a high-performing workforce.
