Job summary

Roc Technologies is seeking skilled Data Cabling Engineers to join our installation team and deliver cutting-edge IT projects across the UK.

You will install and configure network cabinets, build containment systems, install, terminate, test and label Cat6/Cat6A cabling, and perform copper patching to meet industry standards. A clear path to career growth and security clearances is available.

Qualifications

• Experience terminating copper cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A).
• Experience testing fibre and copper cables using Fluke testers.
• Knowledge of containment system installation (steel and PVC).
• OTDR testing knowledge is a plus.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

• Install and configure network cabinets
• Build primary and secondary containment systems
• Install, terminate, test, and label Cat6 / Cat6A cabling solutions
• Perform network switch installations and copper patching
• Ensure all installations meet industry standards and customer expectations

What we’re looking for:

• Experience with terminating copper cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A)
• Experience testing fibre optic and copper cables using Fluke testers
• Knowledge of containment system installation (steel and PVC)
• OTDR testing knowledge is a plus
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Must be eligible for SC and DV clearance (so UK residency and background checks required)
