Job Title: Data & Business Intelligence Analyst - Electronics Manufacturing (Power BI Focus)

Location: Sunderland

We're working with an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) company that's looking to unlock the full potential of its data.

This is a newly created role within a forward-thinking EMS business that has invested in ERP, MES, and other core systems but is only scratching the surface of what their data can do. They are now seeking a capable and curious analyst to bridge the gap between IT infrastructure and commercial/manufacturing insights using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Integrate data from ERP, MES, and other operational systems
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Support manufacturing and commercial teams with data-driven insights
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting needs

What You'll Need

• Experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, visualizations)
• Solid SQL skills and understanding of data integration
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems (Epicor, FactoryLogix a plus)
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and KPIs
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset

Ideal Background

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role OR a recent graduate with relevant placement/internship experience
• Degree in a relevant field (Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Intelligence)
