Guinness Partnership in the UK is seeking a Data Architect to establish and evolve our enterprise data architecture capability. The role focuses on structuring data, governance, and treating data as a strategic asset to enable regulatory compliance and informed decision-making.

Based in London or Oldham with a hybrid working pattern, you will lead stakeholders across levels, drive roadmaps, and translate business strategy into architectural standards.

Job description

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience defining enterprise data architecture, enterprise data models, and domain architectures within complex organisations.
• Strong expertise in modern data platforms, integration architecture, master data management, metadata governance, and data quality frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and data governance tools such as Purview or OneTrust.
• Experience using Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF or DAMA (CDMP), architectural principles, design patterns, architecture tools, and artifact repositories.
• Strong understanding of integration architecture, modern data platforms, and master data management approaches.
• Strong knowledge of metadata management, lineage, data catalogues, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience translating business strategy into practical architecture standards and roadmaps.
• Ability to lead, engage, and influence at all levels.
• Demonstrates the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard.
• Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
• Certification in TOGAF, Zachman, DAMA (CDMP), or equivalent frameworks.
• Educated to Level 6 (degree or equivalent) or higher in an IT/STEM-related degree discipline.
• Desirable: Experience working within the social housing sector.
• Desirable: Knowledge of social housing processes and systems.
• Desirable: Azure or Microsoft Data certifications.
• Desirable: PM, Prince2, Agile Practitioner, DevOps, or ITIL qualifications.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect to join the Guinness team in a permanent, full-time position of 35 hours per week, based in either our London or Oldham office. We offer a hybrid working arrangement combining office and remote working.
