Job summary

Harvey Nash is partnering with a leading Financial Services organisation to appoint a Lead Data Architect in Edinburgh. You will own the enterprise data strategy and help build a modern cloud-native data platform supporting analytics and decision-making globally.

You'll shape the future state, set architecture standards, and influence senior stakeholders across multiple programmes while driving data as a strategic asset in a regulated environment. Hybrid working available in Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Data Architecture within large, complex organisations.
• Strong expertise across Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and modern data platforms.
• Excellent understanding of data engineering, analytics, governance and data management principles.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and SaaS data solutions; ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Background within Financial Services or FinTech environments.

As part of a major digital transformation programme, they're looking for a Lead Data Architect to take ownership of their enterprise data strategy and help build a modern, cloud-native data platform that will support business-critical operations, analytics and decision-making across the globe.

This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain what's already there. You'll be shaping the future state, influencing senior stakeholders, defining architecture standards and helping create a data platform capable of supporting a complex international business operating at significant scale.
