Infopro Digital Group is recruiting a talented and motivated Data Application Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis at Haynes Group Limited, within Infopro Digital’s Automotive division. Infopro is a global organization with 4,000 employees across 18 countries and a turnover of €550 million.

We are seeking a Data Application Consultant to collaborate with the Data Application Team. The role involves working directly with customers to implement lubricant product branding strategies, as well as standardizing equipment information and lubricant specifications for components worldwide.

The team also works with other departments to provide technical assistance on customer queries and performs regular data quality checks to ensure the accuracy of our data deliveries.

Responsibilities

1. Product Matching: Undertake lubricant product matching for customers, support customers in maintaining and updating their product matching, deliver training on the Product Match system, develop best practices, demonstrate Product Matching to clients, and participate in testing new releases.
2. Data Checking and Sourcing: Report data issues via Jira, assist the data input team with source data review.
3. Technical Help Desk: Support stakeholders with data or product matching queries, maintain good customer relationships, and investigate technical claims regarding database or product matching accuracy.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge of lubricants and specifications.
• Good communication skills, experienced in end-user communication.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Desirable Skills

• Background in the oil industry or motor trade, preferably in a technical role.
• Mechanical knowledge of engines and transmissions.
• Hobbies or skills related to motorsport or mechanics.
• Hybrid working: attending the Swindon office 2 days per week.
