We are seeking a remote Senior Software Engineer for a leading technical company that develops award-winning software applications, solutions, and products for clients.

You will join a friendly, dynamic, and supportive team that encourages collaboration and fosters innovation.

This role involves designing, developing, and testing software applications and tools for internal and external stakeholders. You will assist the Engineering Team and Product Owners in translating project requirements into technical tasks, providing estimates, and implementing best practices.

You will promote efficient working practices, share your knowledge with Junior Developers, and contribute to the delivery of complex modules within products.

The Role Will Involve

• Implementing and configuring modules/components of the product
• Supporting analysis functions with technical information
• Reviewing work and mentoring team members
• Collaborating with other Senior and Lead Engineers to share knowledge and ensure consistency
• Interpreting project objectives and requirements
• Writing code, testing, and implementing changes
• Troubleshooting incidents and issues
• Driving technology-based improvements
• Extending applications into new areas with Project and Process Owners
• Collaborating with Business Analysts to refine requirements and design products
• Breaking down Epics into Stories for team assignment

About You

You should be technically skilled with extensive experience in software development and troubleshooting, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

You Will Also Have

• Hands-on experience with .Net and C# applications
• Experience with Azure, including Functions and Function Apps
• Knowledge of BDD and Unit Testing
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and VS Code
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud platforms
• Experience with SQL Server or Cosmos DB
• REST API development skills
• Proficiency with GitHub/Git
• Understanding of CI/CD and cloud deployment
• Ability to produce high-quality code
• Optional: Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals or Developer Associate)
