Job summary

Essential Employment is recruiting a Data and Insight Analyst on a temporary basis paying £320 per day. Full-time hours on a temporary basis.

You will analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks and opportunities, and develop dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insight into service performance.

You will interpret findings for stakeholders, provide recommendations, and support decision-making through high-quality analysis and data products.

Responsibilities

• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks and opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports and other data products to provide meaningful insight into service performance and business outcomes.
• Interpret and communicate analytical findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Produce business-focused recommendations based on data evidence and intelligence.
• Support strategic and operational decision-making through high-quality analysis and insight.
• Respond to ad hoc requests for data analysis and intelligence.
• Design, develop and maintain dashboards, reports and other data products.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into reporting and analytical solutions.
• Support the development of self-service reporting tools and performance frameworks.
• Ensure data products are accurate, user-friendly and aligned to business needs.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, analytics and insight capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of data standards and best practice.
• Develop and maintain management information and performance reporting systems.
• Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reporting on service outcomes.
• Support the creation of performance frameworks and measurement methodologies.
• Identify emerging trends and areas requiring improvement or intervention.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
