Job summary

Carlisle College is seeking a Data and Compliance Officer to ensure learner and staff data is accurate, robust and audit-ready. You will identify anomalies, manage large data sets and deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focussed service within the Learner Data Service team.

You will collaborate with college staff to maintain data quality, resolve errors swiftly and uphold data protection standards, policies and governance across the college.

Qualifications

• Experience in data accuracy and data management.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience in education sector or school setting preferred but all backgrounds welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide data compliance and error resolution within the Learner Data Service team.
• Collaborate with college staff to ensure data quality, completeness and audit readiness.

Data and Compliance Officer

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you a highly organised and detail-focussed with a passion for data accuracy and educational excellence? Are you our next Learner Data Service (LDS) Data and Compliance Officer who is keen to provide and excellent service to learners and staff? We encourage applications from candidates with a keen eye for detail for identifying anomalies along with strong data management skills, ideally with experience in further education or school setting, though all backgrounds are welcome.

As a vital member of the Carlisle College LDS team, you will play a key role in providing effective data compliance and error resolution. This is a highly data focussed role and will require skills and experience in dealing with large and sometimes complex volumes of data ensuring it is complete, robust and audit ready.

This also includes working closely with college staff to ensure a well-developed and customer focussed service is provided to learners and staff.
