Job summary

Citi Belfast is seeking an entry-to-early career Data Analytics & Process Transformation Analyst to build foundational skills in data gathering, basic analysis, and documentation for OTC Settlements. You will work under senior colleagues, gain exposure to derivatives and payments flows, and contribute to process improvements with mentoring.

You will assist in documenting current-state processes, preparing data summaries, and developing simple KPI trackers while learning to apply AI and low-code

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis, process documentation, or operations in Financial Services is welcomed.
• Interest in Global Markets Operations; exposure to Derivatives/Payments is a plus but not required.
• Experience supporting projects or process improvements in a junior or assisting capacity.
• Willingness to collaborate with Technology teams to translate business needs into simple requirements.
• Interest in practical AI/tools such as CoPilot is a plus; no hands-on required.
• General awareness of low-code or automation concepts is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing operational processes and document current-state steps.
• Support basic analysis of settlement and payment data to identify inefficiencies or control gaps.
• Help prepare materials for business cases and investment proposals under guidance.
• Document business requirements with close supervision for quality and completeness.
• Support creating KPI trackers, process maps, and dashboard inputs.
