Motability Operations Ltd is seeking a highly experienced data leader to drive data strategy and lead a multi-skilled team of data and quality engineers. The role blends hands-on technical work with management, supporting major programmes and data products across the business.

The ideal candidate will have deep BI and analytics experience, strong SQL, cloud data warehousing, and stakeholder collaboration across UK sites. Hybrid working is offered with some travel for project needs.

Formación

• This role requires proven experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with Oracle, Snowflake databases or similar.
• Knowledge of ELT tools e.g. DBT, ODI or similar technology.
• Strong knowledge of data management principles, database systems, and data warehousing concepts.
• Detailed knowledge of SQL, writing clear, concise and performant SQL queries.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools and technologies (e.g., OAS, Power BI).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across offices.
• Experience in managing multi disciplined data teams and cloud infrastructure (AWS, OCI).
• Experience with Power BI and semantic models, data quality validation and data modelling techniques.
• Experience with advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modelling, data mining, and awareness of AI/ML.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership to inspire and motivate a multi-skilled data and quality engineering team.
• Lead the implementation of the data analytics strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration to embed consistent data engineering practices.
• Serve as escalation point for deployments or production issues and support rota.
• Travel to MO sites as required to support key programmes.
