Head Resourcing Ltd is partnering with a major shipping and logistics player to hire an Analytics Engineer. The role closes a critical capability gap, strengthening data governance, modelling, and enterprise-level data demand across the organisation.

Reporting to the BI Manager, you will transform data into actionable insights that drive operational and commercial decisions. You will lead modelling, transformation and governance, delivering scalable data solutions and managing key stakeholder

Formación

• Strong SQL skills with data modelling and dimensional design experience.
• dbt or equivalent transformation tooling experience.
• Power BI dataset and semantic-model development expertise.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks).

This role will close a critical capability gap, helping our client's organisation strengthen data governance, modelling, and enterprise-level data demand.

Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, the Analytics Engineer transforms data into trusted insights that drive operational and commercial decisions across the organisation. The role leads data modelling, transformation and governance, creating scalable data solutions and ensuring information is structured for maximum business value. It also manages key stakeholder and vendor relationships to support data accessibility and delivery of our clients 5-year plan.

Essential skills:

• Strong SQL
