Job summary

a2dominion is seeking a Director of Data & Analytics to shape enterprise data strategy, govern data across governance, engineering, analytics and BI, and influence executive decisions. This role aligns with Board-level outcomes and customer-focused insights.

The Director will lead governance, engineering, analytics and BI, building trusted data foundations while advancing AI, predictive insight and reusable data products. Hybrid working in West London with 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in data, analytics or technology.
• Certifications in data management, governance or analytics.
• Extensive leadership of enterprise data functions across governance, engineering, analytics and BI.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise data strategies and operating models.
• Strong knowledge of modern data platforms, cloud tech and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the enterprise Data Strategy aligned with regulatory and tech priorities.
• Establish an enterprise Data Operating Model with clear ownership and governance.
• Lead data governance, quality, lineage, standards and controls across the organisation.
• Ensure reporting uses governed data products and a single version of the truth.
• Oversee secure, scalable data platforms, pipelines and architectures.
• Drive reusable data products across the organisation (Create Once, Publish Everywhere).
• Develop predictive analytics, AI and data science capabilities with measurable value.
• Own data risk position and ensure regulatory reporting is robust and auditable.
• Provide Board-level assurance on data quality and governance effectiveness.
• Lead a multidisciplinary data function and build data literacy across the organisation.
