Job summary

Boeing Defence UK Data Analytics team is seeking a highly motivated intern for a 12-month placement to work in their Bristol office. The intern will be involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of data: collection, transformation, modelling, analysis, and visualization, supporting production or near-production pipelines and delivering a small, documented project.

Qualifications

GCSE and A level/IB required.
Right to work in UK – no sponsorship for visa status.
In the first or second year of an engineering or mathematics degree at an accredited university.

Responsibilities

Learn the data environment, pipelines, tooling and standards.
Assist in extracting, cleaning, and validating datasets from internal sources and APIs.
Implement or enhance ETL/ELT logic under guidance, using team tools.
Help build or refine data models and metadata to support analytics and reporting.
Develop dashboards or reports to answer business questions or measure KPIs.
Troubleshoot data issues and investigate anomalies.
Present a final demo/walkthrough of the assigned project and provide a handoff for maintenance.
